George Boase

George’s boating experience began at the tender age of 5 years old on the Illinois, Green, Mississippi and Missouri river.

He later moved to Michigan and boating on the Great Lakes. A career change brought him to Rhode Island where his passion for sailing added blue water sailing experience in and around Narragansett Bay.

George is now writing magazine articles and books on yachting and keeps a running log on www.TheCruisingSailor.com.
